First Aid for Schools and Colleges (FASch)
Duration: 12 Hours
The ITC Level 3 Award in First Aid for Schools and Colleges is the first aid training qualification which allows schools and colleges to meet their statutory requirements to care for staff, students and visitors, as laid out in the DfE guidance document “First Aid for Schools, Early Years and Colleges”.
Please note, it does not meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage statutory framework, but it can easily be combined with PFA to meet those needs as well. It is the obvious first aid training choice for secondary schools as it deals with the management of first aid incidents involving students, unlike FAW, which does not include children. This qualification is regulated by Ofqual. The training takes places over two days.
